Privacy Policy

Task Timer Pro is a macOS app that tracks how long you spend on your tasks. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Information we collect

None. Task Timer Pro does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email address, and does not send your task names, time entries, or usage patterns to us or to any third party.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the data you create — task names, timers, and time entries — locally on your Mac in the app's sandboxed container. You can delete all of it at any time by deleting the app's data from within the app or by removing the app itself. Task Timer Pro does not sync data between devices; each Mac you install it on keeps its own local data.

Purchases

Task Timer Pro is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple handles the transaction and shares only aggregate, anonymized sales information with us. We never see your payment details.

Crash reports and analytics

Task Timer Pro contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in macOS (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymized crash and usage reports. That setting is controlled entirely by you and can be turned off at any time.

Support email

If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message. We use it only to answer you, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Children

Task Timer Pro is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
